MOSAIC is currently recruiting Warehouse Associates in our Richmond, VA location. This is a full-time hourly position with additional bonus pay.
The Warehouse team is integral to MOSAIC success. Being proud of the quality of your work and making effort to be proactive is key.
We all wear different hats here from time-to-time, everyone is expected to pitch in and do what's needed to help out the whole MOSAIC team. We are a close-knit unit here, and that's what makes us able to do what we do!
LOTS OF WORK
We work long hours, and we work hard. This isn't just a 9-5 gig.
Nights, Weekends, and "Doubles" are to be expected.
The event industry is not cut-and-dry, and can have a chaotic nature. We need someone who enjoys thinking on their feet and has room in their availability for last-minute schedule changes.
This associate participates in the efficient and productive warehouse operation with an emphasis on working with the Catering Team in the setting up and/or packing up of special event inventory and equipment, as well as assisting at offsite events as an integral factor in the success of the event. Client interaction is a regular occurrence, so the warehouse employee must also be customer service-oriented.
Warehouse employees maintain the company fleet and are the drivers of these vehicles, responsible for safe and timely transportation of inventory.
The warehouse staff members will pull the orders for the client which may require climbing, bending, and/or lifting inventory items up to 50 pounds. Warehouse team members also hold the responsibilities of keeping rental items clean and loading trucks.
Candidates must provide an up-to-date driving record from the DMV before being hired.
✦ Maintenance of rental inventory
✦ Transporting inventory in company vehicles safely, including box trucks
✦ Working on event site to help support event success
✦ Preparation and loading of inventory to satisfy scheduled orders
✦ Manage event load-out with event supervisor
✦ Set-up and organization of dish areas at offsite events
✦ Ensure timely return, processing, cleaning and re-stocking of rental inventory
✦ Maintain all warehouse equipment in safe, clean, and working condition
✦ Maintain all building areas, including dish room, in a safe, clean, and working condition
✦ Maintain all company vehicles in safe, clean, and working condition
✦ Clean & valid Driver's License
✦ Weekend, night & day availability
✦ Willingness to work later than scheduled or overtime as needed
✦ Ability to communicate routinely via phone and e-mail
✦ Ability to be on your feet for extended amounts of time
✦ Ability to repeatedly lift 50-70 lbs
Prior experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant industry is preferred.
